The Suffolk Y JCC has been operating community wide programming for over 50 years. The proceeds from our golf outing help to support our life enhancing programs where we see the greatest community need, including our dynamic programs for children & adults with special needs, home visits & nursing care for homebound seniors, a daily hot lunch provided to our less fortunate seniors, the Community Pantry & Garden at the SYJCC serving 100 families daily, and our many support services. All of our programs are offered with a Jewish culture spirit and understanding and are available to the entire community regardless of religion, beliefs or upbringing.

MEET OUR HONOREES
Chris and Elena are lifelong partners, proud Long Islanders, and the founders of the region's most respected family-run real estate organizations- The Galluzzo Team at Compass Real Estate, serving Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
Their story began at Hofstra University, where they met at 18 and 19 years old. What started as a college romance, grew into a lifelong relationship - leading to their greatest achievement. Their four beautiful children, Alex, Christopher, Diana and Carly. Living their lives with their strong family values has led them to all the wonderful organizations they are a part of today that focus on the community and making Long Island a better place to live. Of course, it all began with the SYJCC where they enrolled their daughters, Diana and Carly, into the pre-school. Flash forward 30 years and Diana is now a teacher there for the 4-year-old program.
Deeply rooted in the Long Island Community. The Galluzzo's are active in civic and business organizations and strongly believe that giving back is essential to meaningful success. Chris often shares a guiding mantra that reflects their approach to both business and life.

Some of the notable organizations they are involved with are the Commack/Kings Park Rotary Club where Chris is a past-president. They are members of the Sons and Daughters of Italy, The Commack Kiwanis Club, The Commack Chamber of Commerce and Networking for Charity. They also help with the Danielle Conte Foundation, General Needs and Gift of Life Charities. Elena is a leader of 100 Women of Huntington. Chris and Elena were also honored last year by the Townwide Fund celebrated at Oheka Castle as well as being on the Gurwin Gala Board.
Together with their family, Chris and Elena built The Galluzzo Team into a full-service real estate group, offering comprehensive marketing, expert pricing strategies, hands-on representation, and seamless guidance from listing to closing. Selling 60 to 80 homes each year in the heart of Long Island has established them as trusted neighborhood experts and market leaders.
Their work is guided by a simple philosophy: helping homes find their people - while strengthening the communities that make Long Island such a special place to live.
